About

Alec Goldfarb is a Downbeat Magazine award winning guitarist,
composer, and Hindustani classical musician based in Brooklyn
whose music is "full of ingenious juxtapositions and twists" (The
Wire). A 2026 ACC fellow and author of Tuning the Ear, his work
weaves disparate musical histories into tapestries that are equal
parts research and alchemy.
