About

Bay Area–based amateur (and happily "born-again") cellist. I started playing at age 8 with Barbara Wampner, later studying with Bonnie Hampton and Jean-Michel Fonteneau at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music while in high school. At Stanford, I studied with Chris Costanza and the St. Lawrence String Quartet.

After college, work and life took over, and I stopped playing for nearly a decade. In 2015, I picked up the cello again—and no, it definitely isn't like riding a bike. Since then, I've rediscovered my love for chamber music and have had the opportunity to study with members of the St. Lawrence, Brentano, Tokyo, and Danish String Quartets.

Outside of music, I'm a foodie, a proud Stanford alum (B.A. '05, M.B.A. '12), and VP of Marketplace Operations at Poshmark, a leading social commerce marketplace.
