About

Yi-Fang Wu began her musical path after earning a degree in English Literature from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. She later completed her Master’s Degree in Piano Performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Paul Schenly and Daniel Shapiro, and discovering a strong passion for collaborative piano under Anita Pontremoli.

An award-winning pianist, Yi-Fang has received 3rd Prize in the Chicago International Music Competition (Piano Solo), 1st Prize in the Chamber Music Category, and 1st Prize at the 8th Melbourne Pacific Piano Open Competition. She has performed at major festivals, including the Eastern Music Festival, The Quartet Program, Miami Music Festival, the International Music Festival and Workshop in Germany, and the Savonlinna Music Festival in Finland, along with various concert series in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Yi-Fang serves on the faculty of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-college division.
