Hello, Groupmuse!

I am a flute player from Bulgaria currently based in Reston, VA. I love house concerts. I've hosted them myself in the past and I have played many. There is something magical about sharing music, food and conversation with people at a home.

Music

I grew up singing and dancing to Bulgarian folk music, listening to pop music and studying classical music. Somewhere along the line improvisation and jazz was added to the mix. The repertoire I like to play is a combination of songs and pieces from all of those styles. Sometimes my duo partner is a guitarist, sometimes - a Chinese dulcimer player. Or someone else. I like to experiment.
