About

While I didn't graduate from Juilliard to perform home concerts, I can't imagine performing for a more appreciative audience than groupmuse. I've absolutely loved the intimacy of playing for audiences in home recitals for over 30 years. It allows me to combine my skills as a concert pianist with my love of educating, as I invite the audience to learn a little about the music they are hearing and enjoy it more thoroughly. I also tie in my own personal experience with that composer, i.e. visiting Chopin's birth home in Żelazowa Wola.

After three years of playing music for left hand only, after a bizarre accident caused my right hand to need four surgeries over three years, I'm happy to be sharing music for one and two hands now. No matter how many fingers are on the keys, I make music with my heart.
