About

Jake Hart is an American pianist and composer who released his debut album titled Collage through Sunnyside Records on May 3rd, 2024. The album received praise in the Los Angeles Jazz Scene where the reviewer Scott Yanow wrote how “the two Parts sound spontaneous and bridge the gap between modern classical music and jazz.” In addition, Hart has participated in a multitude of international competitions and has performed at notable venues including Birdland Jazz Club, Mezzrow and the Umbria Jazz Festival.

Jake Hart currently performs original solo piano compositions which fuse the spirit of jazz with modern classical influences. Hart's performances blur the lines between composition and improvisation, offering a musical experience that challenges traditional genre boundaries.
