About

Duo Affogato is a New York-based cello and piano duo formed by Jocelyn Lee and Pin-hui Tsai, who have been performing together since 2022. United by a vision to make classical music more accessible and fun, they bring their engaging programs to nontraditional spaces like coffee shops, hostels, and restaurants—transforming everyday settings into intimate concert experiences.

Pianist Jocelyn Lee earned her doctorate in piano performance from Stony Brook University in 2024. Currently she is teaching as an adjunct faculty in Five Towns College, Han's Music Academy and Musik Colab. Taiwanese cellist Pin-hui Tsai completed his doctoral degree at Stony Brook in the same year and is currently on faculty at the Bloomingdale School of Music and the New York Conservatory. Before founding Duo Affogato, the two collaborated in various performances, including with the Long Island Composers Alliance, and continue to share a commitment to community, education, and meaningful musical connection.
