About

Anneliesa grew up listening and loving music from any genre. She is a versatile pianist who performs in many genres including classical, musical theatre, jazz, gospel, and popular music from all eras. Anneliesa assists fellow musicians and singers in composing, and arranging music. She pursued a MM degree at the Manhattan School of Music (MSM). She studied classical piano under the tutelage of Thomas Muraco. Mr. Muraco has worked with Leonard Bernstein and vocal coached many opera singers. Currently, she is the accompanist in the vocal studio of Dr. Robert Osborne at Barnard College, and Columbia University. Also, Anneliesa is a collaborative pianist for the Musical Theater Department at MSM.

Music

Everything and anything music. Anneliesa usually enjoys all genres of music. If it is a new style of music, chances are that she will try to master the style. Education is her number one professional approach to her craft. She believes that you never stop learning. This builds character and understanding of culture and diversity in music. You may not be able to speak to musicians that do not share the same language but you still can play music together. Music is a universal language that needs to be cherished.
