About

Violinists Philip Ficsor and Carrie Beeder are members of Stratus Chamber orchestra based in Denver. Both have spent their careers in music and have a passion for chamber music. Violist William Hinkie has experience in every realm of classical music, from teaching in the public schools to the Cleveland Institute and the Aspen Music Festival.

Music

We play primarily classical, and love to divide our ensemble into pairings of 2 violins and violin/viola as well as single instrument works. This expands the repertoire significantly and makes programming more interesting for both the audience and performers alike.
