Silver Edges Duo is co-founded by Luisa Cartagena and Alysa Treber, two flutists and music educators based in Los Angeles, California. Being fierce advocates of new music, they specialize in the performance of contemporary works for two flutes as well as collaborating with living composers in the performance of new music.

They have presented numerous lecture recitals in the Los Angeles area as well as participated in masterclasses with renowned flutists Amy Porter, Jill Felber, among others. They are currently working on their West Pacific tour this Spring 2018 presenting recitals that include premieres by composers Steven Luksan and Nicolas Cazares.
