Hiya! I'm Tyler--I'm entering my last year at Juilliard, and I'm a percussionist from DC. I love people, wine, and the sound of bowed vibraphone--and if you don't know what a bowed vibraphone sounds like, let's put on a Groupmuse so I can show ya!

Music

Being a percussionist, my instruments are new and always evolving; just like the music we play! We'll start our muses off with some classic Bach or another piano transcription, all which sound absolutely beautiful on vibraphone. And then as we move on, we'll start to incorporate more contemporary work into our program--the gorgeous "Postludes" by Elliot Cole or "Morning Dove Sonnet" are great examples. Then to wrap up, we'll end in style--perhaps some Piazzolla?
