About

I am an pianist PhD candidate in Musicology at Cornell who is equally invested in performance and scholarship — and many things beyond. My dissertation focuses on nineteenth-century virtuosic pianism, but I am also a pop scholar and have a great love for chatting about any genre of music with people of all backgrounds. Besides being deeply invested in performing music on historical keyboards as well as Steinways, I’m also a budding audio engineer and video producer — and astrologer! So basically, I can talk about anything and everything, and my performances include fun and informative lectures.

Music

I specialize in 19th-century virtuosic repertoire, but my performances include anything from early music to contemporary. I’m excited when I find something I don’t love, because I genuinely don’t know how there’s time for it all! Besides an extensive investment in all things Liszt and Brahms, I’m also working on recording works by Clara Schumann and Sophie Menter.
