Full program notes

We play tunes from scandinavian contemporary composers, hot music with awesome melodies and harmonize them in a bit more middle european way. The music comes from Bands as sver, frigg, the Nordic Fiddlers Bloc, Harald Haugaard, Majorstuen, Stundom and some traditionals.
Each piece has a lenght from around 3 minutes, some are longer. We play almost 10 peaces per 45-minute-Set
Barbara knows all the composers personally and and brings back mountains of new tunes from her many Scandinavian trips

Historical context

The music we play is a development of the traditional music of Scandinavia, which has a very lively folk scene that has never stood still. We give this incredibly deep and emotional music a very unique touch
