As Groupmuse matures in a city, as it has done so beautifully in Denver, one of the offerings we're particularly excited to present is the Groupmuse Night Out. A Night Out is when a partnering performing arts organization in the city gives us a stack of steeply discounted tickets to an upcoming show they've got on the books and we take our community out of the living room, into the Big House to explore the wider artscape of a city.
And so, on April 23rd, thanks to the wonderful Friends of Chamber Music, we'll gather in Gates Concert Hall for Denver's first Groupmuse Night Out. We'll share the evening with Eighth Blackbird.
A relentlessly dynamic clarinet, flute, strings, percussion, and piano sextet, Eighth Blackbird is one of the world's leading New Music ensembles - they've commissioned work by Steve Reich, they've won numerous Grammys, they've even started their own new music festival. And now, thanks to the work of Friends of Chamber Music, they're coming through Denver.
The group is renowned for its artistry, its sense of adventure, its steadfast commitment to curating the best new music this moment has to offer, and its good humor - overall, brilliant ambassadors for those new to New Music.
Full-freight for these tickets runs $40, but because it's a Groupmuse Night Out, we've got a stack available for $10 (and $5 for supermusers), -- a full 75% off! But our stack is limited, so if you want in, hop on it!
And have a great Night Out!
