It’s an established phenomenon that sometimes we offer Nights Out during the day. Branding is one thing, but when we have an awesome concert offering and we want to bring our community along for the ride, whether the sun is up or not won’t stop us. But next week, we’re officially taking a step outside our comfort zone to offer a Night Out during the Work Day, the bring the magic, color, and depth of this great music to our weekday lives.
Young Concert Artists, an organization devoted to cultivating the rising generation of classical music genius, has given us a stack of tickets for a noontime concert at the unbelievably beautiful Morgan Library and Museum in Midtown.
The offering is rising young star of the larynx, German-born baritone Samuel Hasselhorn, with a program of some of the best songs ever written: Those of Schubert, Schumann, and Vaughn Williams.
The concert will last a little over an hour, so it’ll be perfect for a luxurious lunch break. For those who don’t have to head back to work, tickets will grant you all-day access to the Museum.
We’ve got a supply for $15 (and $10 for supermusers), so if you can make time for the sublime on a Wednesday, don’t delay!
