    The Aspect Foundation for Music and Arts has a striking and important approach to presenting the great music that’s so central to our mission: They seek to present whatever the evening masterpiece may be in the historical, literary, and philosophic context of its time, to deepen the musical experience.

    On December 14th, they’re inviting us to the beautiful Bohemia National Hall to share Franz Schubert’s splendid Octet - featuring the Ying Quartet and a number of musicians from the Metropolitan Opera and elsewhere, i.e., toppest of the top notch talent.

    The evening opens with a talk by Misha Donat - a leading intellectual in the classical music world and is followed by a break with free wine and snacks, and then the Octet performed in its entirety.

    Tickets are typically $45, but because it’s Groupmuse and we’ve got some kind of magic,** you can get yours for $20** (and $15 for supermusers!), so more than half off!

    But supplies aren’t infinite, so you’re gonna wanna get on this. Also did we mention free wine?
