Hot on the heels of our recent sold-out Night Out at Jordan Hall, we’ve got another insanely sweet Night Out, and it’s right up the street from Jordan. Yup, you got it: the big house - Symphony Hall, with the Boston Freaking Symphony Freaking Orchestra.
Four times a year, the BSO puts on Casual Friday concerts - wear whatever you like (though, make no mistake, Hawaiian shirts are as frowned upon there as they are in the rest of society….), there’s a pre-concert reception and then after the music is over, we head to a post-concert hang, with live music, snacks, and a cash bar.
This Friday October 20th, they’ll be performing the entirety of Evard Grieg’s beloved music to Peer Gynt - with performance of the Ibsen masterpiece on which it was based, adapted for the concert stage by Bill Barclay.
Theatre. Music. A good hang afterward. And guess what: Our wonderful friends at the BSO are hooking up our people with cheap tickets because they want us there! $20 gets you the whole thing — but our stack really is quite limited, so grab yours!
What's the music?
