Description
The concert “Archetypes of the soul’s facets” of piano preludes written by Elena is dedicated to emotional immersion in each of the 12 archetypes. The 12 archetypes are universal, symbolic characters or personality patterns identified by psychologist Carl Jung. They represent fundamental human motivations, desires, fears, and behaviors that appear across cultures, myths, and storytelling traditions throughout history. Each archetype embodies a specific way of thinking, feeling, and acting that resonates deeply with human experience. These archetypes are often used in psychology, literature, branding, and storytelling to create characters or identities that audiences instinctively understand. Each archetype has its own strengths, weaknesses, goals, and emotional drives.
The classic 12 archetypes are:
Innocent – Seeks safety and happiness through simplicity and goodness.
Orphan (Everyman) – Desires belonging and connection, driven by empathy.
Caregiver – Devoted to helping and protecting others, often self-sacrificing.
Jester – Lives to enjoy the moment and bring joy or insight through humor.
Explorer – Values freedom, discovery, and individuality.
Sage – Seeks truth, wisdom, and understanding above all else.
Ruler – Desires control, order, and leadership to create stability.
Creator – Driven by imagination, innovation, and self-expression.
Hero – Strives to prove worth through courage and achievement.
Rebel – Seeks to challenge norms and spark change.
Lover – Longs for intimacy, passion, and emotional connection.
Magician – Aims to transform reality through knowledge and vision.
Each prelude conveys the emotional essence of the archetype from the composer's perspective. Through her music, Elena takes the listener on a thrilling journey into the heart of each archetype, offering a deep and compelling exploration.
