What's the music?
Music’s powerful ability to connect to moments in our lives is undeniable. The soundtrack of our life is full of surprises, deceptive cadences, dissonance, and can tell quite a story when we relay it to others. In this program, baritone Mike Heitmann sings songs and arias from musical theatre and opera, telling stories from his own life about how that music relates to him, and by extension, likely you as well. His program will include music by Jason Robert Brown, Gilbert and Sullivan, Kerrigan-Lowdermilk, Mozart, Rogers and Hammerstein, Rossini, and more.
