Host
We are so thrilled to welcome our friends and neighbors into the living room of our beautiful home to revel in the elegant notes of a Violin, Viola, and Cello trio.
“Threads of Tradition” is a deliciously dramatic program featuring Dohnányi’s String Trio, a powerhouse cornerstone of the trio repertoire; Dvořák’s Miniatures (written for the amusement of Dvořák and his friends before being casually forgotten by the composer), and Carlos Simon’s Loop, bringing rhythmic drive and modern electricity to the mix. There will also be short selections from other works (Dvořák, Bartok, and Respighi) because restraint is overrated.
We cannot wait to share this cozy Sunday evening with you.
