Our wonderful friends at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center are preparing for another absolutely world-class night of chamber music a week from this Friday and they want us to bring along our beloved community! So we'll see you at Alice Tully Hall!

The evening is entitled Century of Winds and whereas so much chamber music centers the strings, this performance shows just what a wind ensemble can do.

We'll have a piece by the great Richard Strauss, a quintet by August Klughardt, and more. And we finish with an absolutely glorious sextet by Louise Farrenc -- one of the greatest French romantic composers, too long neglected because of the misogyny of the day. Witness her humbling genius next Friday night!

Tickets average $55, but we've got a stack for more than half off -- grab yours for only $25! Supplies are limited, though, so make your move!

What's the music?
