Celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend with A Far Cry’s Heart Strings — a thoughtful and evocative evening of chamber music that explores love in all its forms. The program journeys from the devotional serenity of Bach (arr. Reger) to Anna Clyne’s tender Within Her Arms, and from the romantic lyricism of Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence to the emotionally charged string quartet Kreutzer Sonata by Janáček (arranged for ensemble). The concert closes with Valerie Coleman’s Tracing Visions, a vibrant ode to love’s endurance and community.

Thanks to Groupmuse Nights Out, discounted tickets are available for this full-ensemble performance on February 14 at NEC’s Jordan Hall — making it easier to enjoy a night of expressive, richly textured music with someone special (or treating yourself!). We’re thrilled to help you connect with live performances that move the heart and stir the imagination — don’t miss this memorable program!
