🌍🎻 Experience a uniquely evocative recital with world-renowned cellist Gautier Capuçon as he performs “Gaïa” on Sunday, November 16, 2025, 7:00 PM at Davies Symphony Hall.

This powerful recital shines a spotlight on our planet through music inspired by Earth’s beauty, strength, and fragility. The program features world premieres by 16 leading contemporary composers—including Bryce Dessner, Missy Mazzoli, Nico Muhly, Max Richter, and others—crafted specifically for this project.

Capuçon describes the program as:
“Each track gives its own voice to the cello, immersing us in the power and depth of nature and the Earth… In each piece, it is the Earth that expresses itself in music: sometimes fragile, sometimes majestic, always essential.”

✨ Thanks to the Groupmuse Nights Out program, discounted tickets are available—giving you the chance to witness this extraordinary performance at an exceptional value. Don’t miss your opportunity—reserve your seat today and be part of this spectacular musical homage to our world.

Children over the age of 8 are welcomed.
