(BOOK RELEASE CONCERT)
Borogodó celebrates Brazilian music through the guitar with a special selection of pieces. Having Chiquinha Gonzaga at its highlight, it curates a repertoire that was deeply influenced by the 19th century composer, at the same time it brings much of the Brazilianness that attracts all audiences.
Chiquinha Gonzaga is one of the brightest chapters of Brazilian Music, and much of the music that we now nowadays we owe to her. A thriving artist, she was born on the 19th century and worked as a composer, conductor, pedagogue, and pianist.
