You are warmly invited to an intimate evening of music with pianist Amir Ron, in preparation for his upcoming participation in the Beethoven Competition.
Born in 2001, Amir Ron has quickly established himself as a rising artist, performing as soloist and chamber musician across Israel, Europe, and the United States. A recent graduate of The Juilliard School, where he completed his Master’s degree under Prof. Robert McDonald, Amir previously studied at the Buchmann–Mehta School of Music with Profs. Asaf Zohar and Arie Vardi, graduating summa cum laude.
He has appeared as soloist with major orchestras including the Jerusalem Symphony, Israel Symphony, and Haifa Symphony, and has performed at renowned venues such as the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts, The Juilliard School, and the Eden–Tamir Music Center. A passionate chamber musician, Amir is a two-time fellow of the Ravinia Steans Music Institute and was invited by Mitsuko Uchida and Jonathan Biss to the Marlboro Festival in summer 2025.
A prizewinner of numerous national and international competitions, Amir has also served as a juror at the Arthur Rubinstein and Geza Anda competitions. His studies have been supported by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, The Juilliard School, and the Ronen Foundation, among others.
Please join us for this special performance as Amir shares an inspiring program ahead of his Beethoven Competition debut.
