Interwoven are two striking vocal highlights: “Amour, devient moi propice” from Bologne’s only surviving opera L’Amant Anonyme (sung by soprano Sonya Headlam), and Mozart’s radiant “Parto, parto, ma tu, ben mio” from La clemenza di Tito, both bringing the human voice into the orchestral tapestry.
