Where does this music come from?

Mads grew up in Denmark, where he intently listened to recordings of Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Once he discovered the music of Stephane Grappelli, he knew there was a path for the violin in jazz.

Mads takes you on a captivating journey extending boundaries of musical expression, seamlessly blending classical virtuosity with the world of jazz, pop and folk music. With the help of his looper, effects pedals and innovative techniques, Mads mixes basslines, rhythms, harmonies and melodies to make songs come to life in a fresh way.
