Host

Shake off the winter chill on March 14 with a program of birdsong, sunshine, and seasonal renewal. As the world begins to wake up outside, we are thrilled to welcome back two incredibly talented musicians: Jeremy Eig on clarinet and Joy Mentzel on piano for a program that heralds the beauty of the changing seasons.

The program has been created to capture the essence of renewal and the vibrant energy of the natural world. Come shake off the last of the winter chill and help us welcome the coming spring with an evening of light, warmth, and melody.

We can't wait to share this beautiful program with you!

Doors will open at 7:00 PM.

We suggest a $25 donation to support the musicians.

Friendly heads-up: We share our cozy home with a sweet cat!

To keep things smooth, please plan to park across the street to avoid any parking tickets.

Our home isn't wheelchair accessible and there are 7 steps with a handrail from the street to our house. You will receive the exact address about 24 hours before the concert.

We can't wait to share this beautiful evening with you! 😊

Warmly,
Stephanie and David

What's the music?

The program will feature works by François Devienne, Somei Satoh, Claude Debussy, Louis Cahuzac and Takashi Yoshimatsu. These composers, each in their own way, drew inspiration from the natural world—whether through Debussy’s shimmering impressionism, Yoshimatsu’s echos of birdsong, Satoh’s meditative stillness, or Cahuzac’s sun-soaked echoes of the French countryside. Woven together with Devienne’s Classical elegance, this program invites listeners to experience how different composers drew inspiration from nature.
