Host

I'm very excited to host my second Group Muse, this time featuring Kenya Moses on vocals and Paride Pignotti on guitar. The program will consist of Brazilian Jazz - Bossa Nova with music by, but not limited to, Antônio Carlos Jobim, João Gilberto, Stan Getz, Vinicius de Moraes, and Luiz Bonfá.

Here is a video sample of Kenya and Paride playing Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JC72_lBr44Q

About the performers:

Kenya Moses - vocals
Kenya is a vocalist, music educator and business owner who shares the music of Brazil's bossa nova in her warm and heartfelt sound. Born in the United States, yet connected to her Afro-Brazilian roots, Kenya fell in love with the sounds of Brazil after 15 years performing as a classical vocalist and flautist. Kenya's vocal resonance has allowed her the opportunity to perform throughout the West.

During his career, he has toured and performed internationally throughout Europe, the United States, and Africa, at numerous globally recognized venues and festivals such as Auditorium Parco Della Musica, San Jose for Performing Arts, Yamaava Theater, Borgata Theater, Nice Jazz Festival, Rome Jazz Festival, Healdsburg Jazz Festival, and Time in Jazz, among others.
