I'm delighted and honored to have a brilliant viola and cello duo perform at my home in downtown's Historic Core. Please join me—I’ll have some nosh and drinks, but feel free to bring shareables.
This spring I hosted a string quartet and it was a joyful evening—I'm greatly looking forward to hosting another inspiring Groupmuse event!
What's the music?

Beethoven: Eyeglasses duet
Mozart: Duo K. 423
Break
Gliere: selections from Huit Morceaux
Rossini: Duetto for Cello and Bass (original transcription, world premiere)
Where does this music come from?
Some of the mainstays of classical music (Beethoven, Mozart, Rossini) tried their hands at the extremely nimble and virtuosic configuration of the string duo. The results were magnificent. Come hear our favorite selections of rare, very operatic music by the greats!
