We've got discounted tickets to CAE's upcoming concert on April 5th** at the beautiful First Church in Boston! Here's what Chameleon Arts Ensemble has to say about the program:
"Fauré’s second piano quintet is a graceful summation of his life’s work, with equal parts youthful enchantment and autumnal wisdom. Sir Richard Rodney Bennett reanimates Debussy’s nymph, and Ravel’s early violin sonata hangs in the air like perfume hinting at his ravishing colors to come. Laura Schwendinger muses on themes of loss, memory, and the passage of time in a brand-new work for our technicolor visions of the never-ending cycle of life."
- Tickets can be picked up at the will-call beginning 30-minutes prior to the performance. Seating is assigned.*
What's the music?
Maurice Ravel | Sonata No. 1 for violin & piano “Posthume”
Richard Rodney Bennett | After Syrinx I for oboe & piano
Laura Schwendinger | Ghost Music for soprano, flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano & percussion
