Here's what Aspect has to say about their upcoming program:
"Centered around themes of love, loneliness, and hope, “Distant Beloved” traces the musical lineage of Beethoven’s landmark song cycle (An die ferne Geliebte* as it inspired the creative lives of Clara and Robert Schumann. To conclude the program Duncan and Switzer commissioned a collaboration between poet Jan Zwicky and composer Jeffrey Ryan that traces both their personal connection to Beethoven’s cycle and the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest in the song cycle Everything Already Lost."
Groupmuse ticket members will pick up their tickets at the entrance. Seating is assigned.
What's the music?

Beethoven | An die ferne Geliebte, Op. 98
Clara Schumann | Liebst du um Schönheit, Liebeszauber
Robert Schumann | Mondnacht from Liederkreis, Op. 39, Fantasie, Op. 17
