About

Described as “a confident, accurate, powerful, and articulate interpreter” (Boston Musical Intelligencer) who combines “authority and delicacy” (The Boston Globe), Nan has captivated audiences with performances that combine both intellectual depth and genuine musical expression. As the first-prize winner of the 2022 Fou Ts’ong International Concerto Competition in Boston, her performance with the Mercury Orchestra at Jordan Hall was praised for its “limpid refinement in the adagio” and “exquisitely vanishing pianissimos.”
​As a three-time winner of the Piano Honors Competition at New England Conservatory, her achievements have also been recognized with prestigious awards such as the St.Botolph Club Foundation Emerging Artist Award.
Nan has performed widely and has appeared in renowned music festivals such as Music@Menlo, Ravinia Steans Institute, etc.
Nan is currently pursuing the highly competitive Doctor of Musical Arts degree at NEC studying with Bruce Brubaker and Alessio Bax.

Music

I'm a classical pianist with a repertoire spanning from the Baroque era to contemporary works. I perform as both a soloist and chamber musician, and I also collaborate with dancers. I'm also an organist, having performed with choir, orchestra, and as a soloist.
