My name is Joey Fischer. I am a violist based in Chicago. After graduating from the Juilliard School I moved to Chicago to start a life and career in music. I play with ensembles around the Chicago area including Lyric Opera of Chicago, Joffrey Ballet, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Music
I love to play music that is inspiring and interesting to me. I usually program pieces that have interesting components like melody, philosophy, grove or rhythm and even background. I love Bach and Mozart... I believe they are the most well known composers for a reason. I also like to play new music/ contemporary music.... this sometimes includes my own arrangements of Jazz tunes/ other more popular genres of music.
