About

Growing up as a member of the Betty Haag Academy of music, a Chicago-based violin performing group, Jessica Gottesman Oberlin performed in 11 countries on four continents. She performed in venues from Bill Cosby’s Kids Say the Darndest Things, to the Vatican for Pope Benedict XVI, as a soloist for the American Brain Cancer Association, and at the White House. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Northwestern University, as well as a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland.

Jessica enjoys the close connection with audiences fostered through GroupMuse's intimate venue style. She also teaches adult violin lessons online through her studio: Oberlin Violin Studio.
