Taiwanese pianist Yun Janice Lu is recognized as one of the most compelling artists of her generation. A finalist in the 2024 Concert Artists Guild Competition and a semi-finalist at the 2018 Geneva International Music Competition, she has received the Chi-Mei Arts Award and a
Bronze Medal at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. Janice’s career includes performances at Van Cliburn Concert Hall, Weiwuying Recital Hall, and
Studio Ernest-Ansermet, with notable appearances at festivals such as PianoT exas, Music@Menlo, Ravinia’s Steans Music Institute, Yellow Barn chamber music festival, Four Season chamber music festival, Lake Champlain chamber music festival, and the Dame Myra Hess Concert Series. A dedicated chamber musician, she has collaborated with esteemed artists like Miriam Fried, Peter Frankl, Anthony Marwood, and members of l’Orchestre de la
Suisse Romande. Janice currently resides in Boston, pursuing a D.M.A program at the New England Conservatory.
