About

I moved to the Bay area from France a few years ago, and am working as an operatic soprano with various companies. I have a degree in archaeology and art history, worked as a tour guide in Paris for several years, and enjoy all things musical, natural and historical in California.

Music

What I enjoy the most is intimate recitals of vocal music and piano or harpsichord, showcasing mélodies or Lieder and early music cantatas. I was trained to regard musicality, and being at the service of poetry as more important than sheer volume, which is really something that can particularly be shared and appreciated in recital context.
I particularly love the melodies of Debussy, Ravel, Fauré and Poulenc, as well as German composers such as Schubert and Richard Strauss.
I also love singing excerpts from my favorite operatic and oratorio roles, from composers such as Mozart, Handel, Offenbach or Haydn.
If space allows and I can find an available instrument, it is a treat to bring a harpsichord and introduce audiences to the French early music repertoire of Lully, Rameau or Campra, performed at the court of Versilles.
