About
Aeris brings flute ad classical guitar together in an elegant intimate concert experience. Featuring the expressive artistry of flutist Sally Shorrock and guitarist Miguel Bonachea, the program explores vibrant Latin American rhythms, tango, Spanish influences, and lyrical contemporary works.
Music
Our program, "Urban Echos", music inspired by cities, commences with Eduardo Martin's "Suite Habana", capturing the city's warmth and dynamic cultural spirit. We then feature Diego Pujol's "Suite Buenos Aires", with each movement providing glimpses into the city's unique voices and tango essence. We then visit Barcelona with Moisès Bertran's "Miniatures per Gaudí", highlighting the inspiring architect's imaginative and creative prowess. The program delves later into more specific scenes, featuring a tango, a Cuban son, and a guaguancó, rhythms that evoke a vivid portrayal of each city's inhabitants. "Urban Echos" invites the audience to uncover the soul of the city through captivating melodies, rhythmic patterns, and boundless imagination.
