  Parker Van Ostrand and soprano Cristina Villalobos\, two young artists wh
 ose careers are gathering real momentum. Parker has already appeared as a 
 soloist with major U.S. symphony orchestras and is currently studying at U
 CLA and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Cristina\, a recent gradu
 ate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music\, recently won a major voca
 l concerto award\, performing Berlioz’s Les nuits d’été with orchest
 ra.\nThe evening opens with solo piano works by Haydn\, Chopin\, and Rachm
 aninoff — a compact journey from Classical clarity to full-blooded Roman
 tic expression. The program then turns to art songs by Beethoven\, Schuber
 t\, and Rachmaninoff\, where voice and piano move together through love\, 
 longing\, and the small emotional turns that make these composers timeless
 .\nParker and Cristina perform together often\, and the ease between them 
 gives this repertoire a natural\, conversational flow — especially in a 
 setting where nothing feels distant.\nIf you enjoy serious music without f
