 harp orchestration\, blazing trumpets\, organ solos\, and the iconic “De
 ad March” from Act III (later made famous in state funerals)\, this orat
 orio demands— and rewards—full emotional engagement. The libretto by C
 harles Jennens weaves biblical narrative into opera-like intensity: love\,
  betrayal\, prophecy\, rage\, and remorse all unfold in musical splendor.
