 ård demonstrated a unique talent for performing classical music on the sa
 xophone. Educated at Kungliga Musikhögskolan (the Royal Academy of Music)
  in Stockholm and at Northwestern University in the US\, he has won numero
 us awards\, including the Fulbright and a Sweden-America Foundation Fellow
 ship .His dissertation\, Background and Emergence of the Swedish Saxophone
  Concerto - Lars-Erik Larsson\, Op.14\, is an introduction to Swedish saxo
 phone repertoire.\n\nLight PotLuck Dinner Buffet. Host will provide two ho
 t hors d'oeuvres & punch for potluck reception during intermission & begin
 ning\, when doors open. Guests are welcome to bring food and wine to share
  as well\; if considering a sweet\, think about fruit instead of processed
  sugar. Music begins at 45 minutes after doors open\, please be on time\, 
 2 sets with 1 short intermission\, rarely one longer set. Guests most welc
