 rumpeter\, composer\, and arranger Ryan Easter demonstrates a purpose-driv
 en fascination with the dynamic history and practices of Black culture and
  music. He’s shared stages with Jennifer Holiday\, Donald Harrison\, Har
 ish Raghavan\, Tomoki Sanders\, and many others\, as well as performed int
 ernationally with the groups Nu Jazz and Wrens. Inspired as a teenager by 
 seeing Roy Hargrove and Christian Scott perform in Jordans\, Easter contin
 ues his exploration of style\, substance\, and the occasional omakase.
