 \n\nOverlooking the dramatic skyline of NYC\, soak in the sounds of Cello 
 and Piano with Aaron & Tina\, two internationally-acclaimed musicians\, at
  an architecturally renowned modern art-filled 3 level penthouse at Mcarre
 n Park\, in WB/greenpoint. \n\nA number of guests have RSVP'd on eventbrit
 e\, but we also wanted to welcome the groupmuse community. \n\nCan music c
 ommunicate a sense of place\, or the feeling of home? Our exploration of t
 his idea begins with music based on folk idioms from Schumann’s Germany 
 and Tsintsadze’s Georgia. We then trace how the travels of Claude Debuss
 y and Antonin Dvorak sparked works that have become cornerstones of the ce
 llo-piano repertoire.\n\nSchumann – Funf Stücke in Volk Ston\, Op. 102\
 nTsintsadze – Five Pieces in Folk Style\nDebussy – Cello Sonata\nDvora
 k – Silent Woods\n\nAaron Wolff (b. 1994) is a New York City-based celli
 st active in solo and collaborative capacities. Recent performances includ
 e Schumann Quartets with Yellow Barn Artist Residencies\, Marc Migo’s 
 “La Dona d’Aigua” with the Juilliard Orchestra\, and Debussy’s Cel
 lo Sonata on CNN’s Quest Means Business.\n\nAaron received a B.A. in com
 parative literature and B.M. in cello performance from Oberlin College & C
 onservatory. He then completed Master’s degree at Juilliard\, where he w
 as a Kovner Fellow under Joel Krosnick\, and an Artist Diploma under Tim E
 ddy and Fred Sherry. As the winner of the Leo B. Ruiz Memorial Recital\, h
 e will give his Carnegie Hall debut in December 2023. \nAaron has found cr
 eative outlets in acting – most notably in a lead role in the Coen broth
 ers’ film A Serious Man – and in arranging and writing about music: 
 he has provided string arrangements for Comedy Central’s Broad City an
 d covered New York’s new music scene for I Care If You Listen. \nAaron 
 plays a Perry-Wilkinson cello\, made in Dublin in 1791.\n\nDetails:\n⏱ W
