 .impromptuo.com\nBased in New York City\, Impromptuo is an innovative impr
 ovisation-focused duo made up of violinist Katherine Kyu Hyeon Lim and pia
 nist Joey Chang. The duo has been commissioned and presented by Metropolis
  Ensemble\, House of Yes\, (Le) Poisson Rouge\, Fifth Wall Performing Arts
 \, and National Arts Diversity Integration Association in 2020. They have 
 also performed as part of the Variousound Sessions 2020 Residency\, and co
 -founded The Moving Orchestra in 2019. Though primarily trained in Europea
 n classical music\, Impromptuo draws influence from traditions of free jaz
 z\, experimental electroacoustic music\, etc.\, and suggestions from you!\
 n_Impromptuo is a recipient of a Chamber Music America Ensemble Forward Gr
 ant\, made possible with generous support from the New York Community Trus
 t\, which has allowed them a prodigious opportunity to work with composer/
 multi-instrumentalist Tyshawn Sorey._\n\nwww.dsbutnerdesign.com\nDavis But
 ner is an architectural designer and musician with an interest in the inte
 rsection of architecture\, preservation\, and the performing arts. With in
 terdisciplinary experience in design\, curation\, and artistic planning\, 
 he is passionate about the civic role of architecture and the performing a
 rts as a means of promoting and preserving cultural heritage.\nDavis Butne
 r is an architectural designer and musician with an interest in the inters
 ection of architecture\, preservation\, and the performing arts. With inte
 rdisciplinary experience in design\, curation\, and artistic planning\, he
  is passionate about the civic role of architecture and the performing art
 s as a means of promoting and preserving cultural heritage.\nA proud nativ
 e of Atlanta\, GA\, he is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania wit
 h a B.A. in Music and Architectural Design\, likewise completing a certifi
 cate of design at the Architectural Association in London\, and his master
 s in architecture at Yale University.
